Wish Youth Network Society (WYNS) is a student based, non-profit organization to reach out to terminally ill children and their families. Our mandate is to strengthen and promote the power of hope in those who need it most. With a student body currently dissipated throughout schools from all across the province of BC, WYNS provides an opportunity for students to give back to the community and to connect with like-minded youths through joint fundraisers and events.
The youth is often called the hope of the future, and as a part of this initiative, members will be able to extend the hope society places on us to those who need it most. By using not only monetary means but also volunteerism and many events, WYNS places great emphasis on active ways to make a difference in others’ lives.
Our vision is to help the youth realize the significance of things we neglect so easily in life: the fragility of happiness, the importance of health, and the value of hope. We wish to enrich the lives of not only those who we want to help but also ourselves by realizing the potential that is to be found in all of us.
